Bailiff has levy on my car before knocking HELP Please

A bailiff has already levy on my car before knocking at my door, i wasnt aware or expecting them as it is for an outstanding debt last year for council tax, can i still send notice to cease and desist all communication with them now?? this is pending removal within 24 hours???

May not be the right thing to do but i would hide car where bailiff couldnt find it when he turns up and says its gone i would say you took it you had a levy on it not my problem would be a bloody good laugh you could record it

That may not be such a clever idea, as the bailiff might report it as having been stolen and the plods could then arrest the OP for driving his own motor-car.
