I sincerely hope it isn't a genuine county court bailiff, if it is I wonder if he has been seduced to the dark side by Darth Boswell of marstons? Either way he is talking carp

Re: HMCS Baliff Order To Force Entry

Hi sorry for the delayed response. To shed some light on this . Yes this is a civil debt arising from a ccj.

The baliff is employed by the court. The letter had his mobile number and a land line number which was the County Court. I did cross check this with directory enquiries and it is the same number the one I called. So I dont think this is a baliff just using forged county court headed paper. My worry is that is there some different law for baliffs employed by the CC to gain forceful entry ? He has not had access and has no way to get in as only 1 door and its always locked. Even the windows downstairs dont open. its an old cottage type building. I have no car. No possesions of value but the few meagre things I have are important to me. I can not loose my labtop as it would in effect destroy my ability to keep earning money.

Thanks for the responses here. I do intend to pay this debt but not all of it as I dont agree with the full amounts but thats another story. Dont wanna confuse things here. thanks

Re: HMCS Baliff Order To Force Entry

I believe the right for a bailiff to force entry is only in relation for the enforcement of magistrates fines. Even then the judge has to award a right of entry warrant which is seldom given

Forced entry can only be applied through a court order for repossession as an example, not for a CCJ

I would be inclined to give a formal complaint on this bailiff to the ministry of justice, and enclosing a copy

A formal complaint to the court will also be in order

The bailiff is misrepresenting his powers
