      Re: Collectica

So, our account has been put on hold for 28 days, (as bluebottle previously updated) while HMCTS investigates. And, as far as Collectica are concerned, a payment arrangement is in place with the first payment being due next wednesday (24th). Lunchtime today and there's a knock at my door (which i ignored) and a letter comes through from collectica! Another notice of attendance!! Exactly the same as the one I received on the 11th. The baffoon that posted it was still in his car over the road so my OH went over and asked him what was going on and the bailiff asked if he could "come in and discuss it" (yeah, nice try!). My OH tells him that the account is on hold and, furthermore, an arrangement had been set up anyway and the guy says, "im gonna have to ring the office and check, is it ok if we do it indoors?" Pfffffffft!!! He rang the office and then said "disregard my visit"................. Useless bunch of ******!!!

Don't worry about the username, Milly, it's another username I use. It's BB. I can't get into my BB username at the moment. Could you either ring me or text me the time the buffoon turned up. I may speak to the SEM for your area about this on Monday.

It's me, BB, CC. Felt like a change. If you're wondering what it is it's an Astromega double deck luxury coach, built by Van Hool of Belgium. It's powered by a MAN EEV 12.5 litre turbocharged intercooled diesel engine. There is a video on YouTube showing one being put through its paces on a test track. It's remarkably agile for a vehicle of its size (47'0" long x 8'6" wide x 13'4" high).

It was around lunchtime BB, Maybe 11:30? Also, the payment arrangement that was made over the phone (prior to the matter being on hold) was for £35.00 per week, the letter they have sent out to us (to confirm the arrangements) says its £35.00 per fortnight. They couldnt organise a p*** up in a brewery them lot!

Definitely not. Take a look at the video of Van Hool testing an Astromega and an Astron single-deck coach on the test track and a skid pan.

Sounds like they are trying to cover their collective gluteus maximus. Can you afford £35.00 a fortnight? If not, then it needs to be adjusted. If Collectica will not concede, then it may be a case of going to HMCTS senior management. Has the HMCTS SEM for your area been in touch yet?

A Blunderbus was a forerunner of the modern day shotgun. It was a heavy, cumbersome weapon that could knock you off your feet and cause a lot of damage with the shot it discharged.

Okay. Let me know when (or if) he gets in touch with you. I did advise him to speak to you and your OH before he spoke to Collectica. Is £35 per fortnight affordable for you and your OH?

I will do BB, am hoping he will call tomorrow... Um, no £35.00 per fortnight is still a bit much really.........i did offer them £25.00 but obviously they rejected it. A friend of mine has offered to pay it off in full for me but the thing that really grinds my gears is that they added their fee of £215.00 AFTER id e-mailed them telling them that we currently have short term financial issues (disasters!) and made an offer of £15.00 per fortnight temporarily and then would increase it when my OH is in full time work again (which is imminent). They completely ignored my e-mail and added the charges anyway, that hasnt helped!! Ideally, i would like to pay the £95.00 owing from the original fine and the £85.00 compliance fee. I would love to tell them to go whistle for the £215.00 but i dont suppose id have a chance in hell?? x
