    Of course they aren't.

They are, however, asked to pay £10 if they wish to have "up to FOUR questions" answered (link), or £25 to have an out of time Statutory Declaration filed with the TEC.

The attached file is a PDF copy of that page.

Interesting comment about JBW printing their own warrants. The did claim that back in 2011, but now they claim that TfL issues them and then passes them on to JBW 'electronically'. (Source - court statement from Christine Eva JBW's court representative). When this seismic change took place is probably buried firmly in the back of Ms Eva's mind.

I have absolutely no doubt that JBW does print 'warrants' for TfL but only when challenged to produce one. It is only then that the commercial software that JBW bought and which contains 'warrant' templates is used. Thus the use of the words 'fraud' and 'forgery' in this thread are quite legitimate and there is no statute that allows for bailiffs to print warrants.
It is known that at least one London Borough Council allows JBW to print and issue warrants. I believe this has been challenged, but not in a court. JBW will, eventually, trip themselves up and take a hammering that, I suspect, not even Ms Eva will be able to save them from.

Clever Clogs - I don't think that the world will fall off its axis because one person has chosen to do that. Besides those who want to know about warrants can read about them and the whole site and hopefully be educated and wiser for doing so - all because I am offering years of experience for nothing. All I did was to put up a link to help them on one aspect. it was either that or post 2500 words. The subsequent fuss appears to have advertised it far more.

I should add that literally hundreds have also phoned here over several years and received all sorts of advice for the same price of precisely nothing. Would you like me to take the site down and retire or can we stick to fighting bailiffs without petty bickering and worrying what others might 'get out of it'?

Bizzybob - Not an 'us' just a 'me' an unknown pensioner in one horse town that nobody has heard of

Bluebottle - you are quite right. In fact they all the London Boroughs do, but it was Ms Eva who stood up in Croydon County Court and argued that they don't and that the local authorities send warrants electronically to them. Her arrogance effectively placed the ball on the penalty spot and asked me to shoot at an empty goal. She can't go back without admitting perjury

I have challenged over 25 councils to try and find these elusive electronic messages.... They'll have more success in an Easter Egg hunt

If that is the case, Ms Eva should be reported to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). Misleading or Attempting to Mislead A Court is serious professional misconduct.
