Excellent news, well done! They came unstuck with the normal issue of the further steps notice as suggested in post 3. Procedures are there to be followed!

        Why?

I've not had a TV Licence for years - but I don't watch television.

Merely owning a TV does not require a licence, nor does using one to watch DVD or Blu-ray, so long as there is no way the set can receive a live broadcast. Great fun seeing a Crapita Salesman, trying to get a signal on a HDTV that only has an analogue tuner, and no Sky or Freeview box nearby to come to his rescue, with a grainy fuzzy image to get him a prosecution and his commission..

They do tend to get upset when they see their commission get flushed down the pan, poor dears.

I feel this is something that needs pursuing with HMCTS at high level.

There appears to be a systemic rectal blockage in HMCS regarding FSN, have they outsourced the administration of cases to Marstons, which would include sending FSN, that would be one reason they are not going out?

                  Marstons or Crapita?

What you have is someone looking at a screen & saying a FSN was sent on xx/yy. There is no actual proof it was ever printed or dispatched. If the boot was on the other foot they would only consider it if at the very least you had a Certificate of Posting.

That is my gut-feeling, PT, and I would not be surprised if this is what is actually happening.
