JBW group limited clamped my vehicle without any previous correspondsence

I woke up this morning to find my vehicle had been clamped by JBW Group Limited
They attached documents asking me to contact a mobile number
As I was at work I was unable to do this until I returned from work later today
I contacted the number provided and was told that this was for 2 unpaid parking fines I had apparently received during 2011
I moved address in Feb 2011 and these parking tickets are claimed to have been issued in June 2011 and October 2011 but at no time did I find any documentation on my vehicle relating to these said fines
My ex partner resided at the adddress that they claim previous documentaiotn was sent vbut at no time has she staed that I had received any mail regarding these
I have not received any post to my current address in reference to these parking fines
I have only just changed the address on my log book due to a lapse in personal admin on my part but my driving licence was changed earlier this year and I have been on the electoral role at my current address since 2011
The have stated that the parking fines total £374.00 but that the total amount due including their fees is £1114.00
I explained that I had never had any previous notification regarding the fines but they having given me til 9am tomorrow to make a payment of £871.00 or they will be removing my vehicle
I do not have the funds to pay this and therefore do not know what to do
Your assistance in this matter is much appreciated

Have a read http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...rking-Offences . In the morning you should contact the Traffic Enforcement Centre and ask in particular what address is on the Warrant. JBW have form for this type of thing and if it were me I would be asking to see the warrant they have and also asking which Rule/Regulation allows them to clamp a car. Have you been given a Notice of Seizure?

All I've got is a sticker on my vehicle saying
Warrant of execution or a liability order or a distress warrant not really sure what all that means

In addition to asking to see the warrant, I would also ask to see a Clamping Order, authorising them to clamp your car. If they have levied on your car, they have to give you a reasonable opportunity to pay. 48 hours would be deemed unreasonable. As Ploddertom has said, JBW have form for this sort of thing, as well as attempting to force entry to people's home without a court order. Is your car on finance, adapted for use by a disabled person, a company or leased vehicle or authorised to have a blue light/siren fitted (including magnetic light/siren combinations) and used in connection with your occupation? If so, JBW are in serious trouble and will be required to remove the clamp immediately. Any attempted seizure/removal in such circumstances would be illegal.
