Sorry about the delay I've not been able to get to much papaerwork as one of my lodgers has turned out to be a heroin addict and has beeen stealing from us .

Howeverto teh subject in hand . I've just had a 24 hour removal notice for two accounts . However there have been no levys made on any goods . and the walking posession order was for a vehicle that has been scrapped . What do I do now as I need to sort something out and needto keep paying . If i beg my family i may be able to raise £1500 but no more

Have you done what was advised in post #2 ie made the phone call to the Council to get info and emailed Jacobs? until we see the reply to those questions we can only see part of the picture and that limits us to offering further advice.

If the vehicle was obviously only worth its scrap value, then the levy and WPO will have been invalid as the good cited would not realise enough when sold to satisfy the debt.

Unless the vehicle would sell at auction for somewhere around £3k, their WPO was not worth the paper on which it was scrawled.

                  Re: Council tax, jacobs.

just spoke to the enforcement bailiff who annoyed that i not told him the call was being recorded until late into teh conversation . He wont negotiate and says he's not yet tried to get access to the house .
I am keeping all the doors and windows locked at the moment as I just had to evict one of my tehants for shooting herion and stealing from us ( all my wioifes gold jewellery). IThe police arrested him in his bedroom with a syringe in his hand so he's being detained at the moment .
What is the nextstep I've got enough to make payments for the previous arrangemetns and bring it up to date and I can set up electronic transfer from my account to the council on a weekly basis .

How long will I have to keep the doors and windows locked for ?

                    Re: Council tax, jacobs.

You have two liability orders against you for outstanding CT to previous years. they are now considered to be non priority debts and we will come back to those later..This years CT is a priority debt and you will need to bring that up to date and continue to make the payments expected of you until the current years CT is satisfied.

You need to draw up and income and expenditure sheet using the guidelines given by an approved agency CAB Debt Line etc. be totally honest with yourself when filling it in....when you have the figures to what you are left with each week/month you can then apportion to each of the non priority debts for CT and make payments on line direct to the Council as discussed in post#4. Mr bailiff will continue to attend but if you refuse to give him grounds for a levy he will eventually give up and return the debt to the Council...there is no exact science to how many more visits he will make but usually after 5/6 they move on.

He will be looking to getting his fees but as in post #2 until we know what he is attempting to charge and what for... we cannot address the legality of his fees, you really must send that request for a breakdown of fees without any further delay.

Bull*****......they have screen shots of the account that are updated on a daily basis..in some cases hour by hour...send the letter asking for a breakdown by email and if they try to tell you same rubbish you send a copy of their reply to the Council and raise a complaint.

That is bovine excrement. They have, in all probability, got access to data as the bailiff would have to update the file each time he/she did something. They would also have electronic and manual records.
