  • Bailiff fees ?

    Hi
    Can bailiffs just add fees as and when they want cause I had a fine for a parking ticket for £45 which wasnt mine and Im contesting now its gone to Philips bailiffs who kindly made it up to £130 and now they are saying its £215 how does that work can anyone tell me please ?

    Why would anyone pay a parking ticket fine that wasnt theirs would someone pay council tax for a house they didnt live in or own?

      I know thats why Im contesting it but there saying that if the bailiff comes to my property that it will go up even more lol

          Request the registration number of the vehicle that is involved, and if it is a mistake then turn the tables on them by charging the bailiff as you have suffered with stress regarding this. I just been corrected, its the council you need to concentrate on as they are the ones that are liable.

            It was the met police who are involved I have just spoke to them and they are saying Ive gota go to the court which it was issued at then sign a declaration saying it wasn't me and Ive gota pay to do it lol £25

                  Did the police issue a summons with your details on it together with a reg number at details of time and place

                    I haven't received anything from the police the first i knew about was a letter from the bailiffs

                        Issuing officers surname and collar no
                        Offence code Taken from a ticket that the policeissue got this from a policeman friend if the reg is not your car no offence if its your car no either yourself or someone using your car was caught

                          Don't rule out car or number plate cloning either.
