Just to make the point clear to the OP following Ploddertom's post, writing back to them replying, honestly, that you put the postal order in the envelope as I suggested you do quite a few posts ago, does not preclude you from handing them a shovel still.

What you don't tell them at present is you know they have cashed the PO and so the 40 calendar days in which to comply with the SAR have most definitely started passing away.
