    I had court bailiff knock on the door and ask me if i did not sort the debt out today then I will be in court on the 15th of next mth

    Would i like AM or PM


    Did not leave me with a card or anythng..


    I would like to know if this was COURT bailiff ????


    Do they work in this way

        From what you've said in your initial post, that doesn't sound like a Court Bailiff. They don't come around making threats like that. Attend your local police station and report this. Tell them someone purporting to be a bailiff knocked on your door, making said statement. You know nothing about what the person was going on about and have received no correspondence or telephone calls about it. If the police say it's a civil matter, please let me assure you it is not. This may be someone impersonating a bailiff. If this person calls again, do not open the door to them and ask for more details.

          Could it be for an outstanding Magistrates Court fine, do you know which firm of Bailiffs it was?
