SAR Sent to the bailiff company, still gathering info regarding my official complaint to council, still no reply from head of revs at council. Reference a SAR sent to bailiff company would that be seen as account with them being in dispute or not?

The Bailiffs have 40 days in which to reply and no it would not be seen as a dispute. Have you chased the Council, do you definitely know they have your complaint/request? If it were me I would be involving my local Councillor(s) to harry them.

I don't think a DSAR in itself can be seen as putting an account in dispute, but can be seen as evidence of that, in conjunction with other circumstances or correspondence. The earlier letter to the Head of Revenues should be enough, I'd have thought, CD. JMHO, though.

I have an email from the head of revenues pa to say the letter had been received and obviously the digital copy I sent them was acknowledged at the same time. The letter was posted and marked for the attention of the head of revs himself, but no response from him at all. My MP will be sent a cc of the complaint letter. I would also like to cc other bodies so looking for suggestions.

I have a template letter which would give you a basic structure. It is for a similar situation, but will need adapting. I can post it up once I return from a hospital appointment later on. I think it would give you a good starting point.

I think it would be worth pushing the Head of Revenues for a response via email first though. You want to be seen to have acted totally in good faith. Maybe give him another week in which to respond before having to escalate the matter (don't mention the CEO at this stage).

                Re: Double Take???

I have already emailed a follow up to his pa as it was pa who emailed me, this was 2 weeks ago, the pa has not even acknowledged the email. I am expecting the SAR sent to bailiff company to maybe stir things up with the council and then my emails/questions might be answered. I have templates I have already found, but would appreciate any you have, the more info the better.
Many thanks to you all for all the input/information so far.
