I thought it was but couldn't remember the actual text... it is good to see it being used elsewhere as I actually used this some time ago and the result was very beneficial to getting money back from the imaginary charges a bailiff from Rossendales had "accidently" added to my debt.

My debt wouldn't have bought a packet of peanuts but the charges were in excess of £400. The attending bailiff was not the single "rougue" bailiff recently in the news...he was a pussycat compared to the one that harassed me day in day out for several weeks.

I was green as grass way back then but now ....that would see a different twist to the tale

....... it was allegedly due to a mix up with my surname and supposedly confusion arose when details were entered to the wrong account bearing the same name.......After pointing out that I have a rare surname ,to which there has only ever been 6 entries in any phone book, I was never given the courtesy of a further reply.:eyebrows:

Exactly - they tried telling you a bare-faced lie and, when you told them that their twaddle was singularly unconvincing, they just ignored you.

Did you subsequently make any complaint about their antics?

no complaint.....as I said, I was as green as grass back then...now of course if they ever tried that stunt again, I would be capable of skinning their bailiffs without a mark showing on them and Mrs Jones along with them
