  • Alledged attendance

    Hi all,

It's my first time posting and I would like to know if a bailiff is allowed to charge an attendance fee without attending.

Philips put an attendance charge of £200 on my account on the 31.8.11 and claim a bailiff attended on the 1.9.11. But no letter or paperwork was left. I have asked them for proof of attendance as well as the bailiffs name. But they keep dodging my questions.

Any advice would be most welcome and please excuse any spelling mistakes.

I would agree, And is £200 a fair attendance fee?
