My partner recieved a letter from Marstons regarding a fine that he supposedly hasnt paid.The letter states that goods will be seized though he doesnt own anything in this property as all the belongings belong to myself,friend and ex can they still seize the items?

Is this a fine he gained at an old address?
As for ownership of all goods, as no visit has been your partner is entitled to do what he wants with whatever goods he does own. As for everyone else then all you have to do is get a Statutory Declaration done as to who claims what.
If he does call you can refuse to let him in - Magistrates Court Fines do carry the ability to force entry but it will stall him in the meantime. They will have already charged an extra £75 for writing to him and visit charges are approx £200 a time. It is in his interests to find more about this ASAP.

If your friend either thinks he has paid the fine, or has no idea what the fine is for, he should write to the bailiffs asking for this information asap as charges will be mounting as PT has said.
Do they know what the fine was for? Do they think they paid it?
