    Re: marston bailiff help needed

That was what I thought - I was puzzled why the OP was contacting the high court section of the bailiffs ?

Perhaps Marstons use the same bastar... bailiffs to collect fines as they use as High Court Enforcement Officers?

Officers they may (or, more likely, not be) but they certainly are not gentlemen, even of the home-made variety; one would not be astonished to see such creatures eating peas from a knife.

Have Marston escalated this to the high court?

It can be escalated for amounts over £650 I believe, so if they are adding on fees just to ensure it can go through the high court, that is very naughty.

Did you send the subject access request?

High court bailiffs are very bad news, if this is the case here. Do you know the differences between HCEOs and 'normal' bailiffs?

            Re: marston bailiff help needed

Who did you send it to and when dod you send it? Marstons have 40 calendar days to respond to an SAR, so you may have sent it to the correct person. If you can let us know where it went, we can let you know whether it's the right place or not.

Whilst a Subject Access Request could be sent by email, one might have some difficulty in sending the Data Controller the fee. (link)

FWIW, This is the Data Controller's office, to which I believe a DSAR should technically be sent, along with the statutory £10.00 fee. The template for doing this is here somewhere, I'm sure, but I can't find it. Can someone post a link to it ?

Hi everyone just an update we have finally herd from the courts and they have reduced the fine to 284.00. I now have a weekly payment card of 5 per week. We just want to say a massive thankyou to everyone who helped, we couldn't have done it without you. We get our post mortem results this week aswell so we might finally get some answers to why our son died and try to put things to rest. A huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders and I cant thank you guys enough. And if any one is ever in lowestoft pop into my cafe and breakfast is on me thankyou again

That's good news, mate. You needed some of that.

I'd pop in for a Full English, but after my previous cheek, I may well end up wearing it !!! Oh well, it's fashionable these days, isn't it ?
