You can dispute the fees. Put it in writing to them, and also copy it to the court with the letter to the Court.
    Is no longer here

Certificated. Bailiffs are certificated, not certified.

The online register isn't always up to date, so you need to call the MoJ and check with them, but I have to say, the £200 added sounds about right for this.

Have you contacted the Court Manager, explained the situation and asked for more time to pay?

thank you for your replies, I've been away looking after a relative and havent been able to get on here.
they didnt spell his name, but I checked through the names of all Marstons bailiffs and there wasnt one the was even close to it, I'll call them to get the spelling and call the MoJ to check with them.
Its not that I'm disputing the actual amount they are charging (although I personally cant understand how they can get away with charging £200 to visit a house, and do nothing) what we dispute is that anyone actually came to the house, no card / letter etc was left and we were in at the time they said and there was no knock at the door so I think they are telling a blatent lie.
The good news is my friend has now been offered a job, and accepted, so in the next few weeks will be in a much better position to pay this.

With bailiffs, one has to remember that:
              Bailiffs tell lies
