This morning, I received a phonecall from the Rossendales bailiff, Mr Gilmour.
If you possibly can, record that bastar... bailiff when he next telephones you. Any bailiff who makes threats to break into private property in respect of a civil debt is being a bit naughty.

    From the Bailiffs' Register:
Mark William Gilmour, certificate issued at Burnley Combined Court Centre, date of issue: 22/06/2010, date of expiry: 21/06/2012, name of chumps daft enough to employ him: Rossendales Ltd

I informed him that I had contacted the Traffic Enforcement Center and that they had advised me to fill in a form TE9 which I have found and downloaded. He said it was too late for that and that he was coming to either collect payment in full or take either my partner's car or mine.
He seems to be remarkably dim, as he might as well try to levy on a council dustcart.

I told him that he could not take my partner's car as it was not mine and that he was not taking my car as he would leave me isolated with a 4 yr old son and a disability. He said he did not care! So I then said that he would firstly have to get through my padlocked gate which he said he would jump over, then I said he would have to get past my dog to which he said he would have the dog put down.
That's something else the oaf cannot do.

I then said that my car was locked up and that I was about to take all the wheels off and he said he would break into the garage and tow the car with a truck. I informed him that by doing this he would be liable for any damage caused to the car. He again said that he didn't care. I told him that I would call the police if he tried to break in and take my car.
Do not expect much - if any - help from the plods; at best, they'd probably mutter something about it being "a civil matter" whilst, at worst, they might threaten to arrest you if you did not let the bugger in!

It's now nearly 8 pm and no sign of Mr Gilmour!!!
He might show up early tomorrow morning.

What is a DPA SAR form and where do I get one from please??
You don't need to fill in a form - just write rotten Rossendales a letter, using a template from here, modified to suit your requirements.

Do not sign the letter, lest the bailiff or his employers "get creative" and apply your signature to a Walking Possession Agreement. Instead, download a free handwriting font such as Jenna Sue (link), Glider Girls (link), The Only Exception (link), Homemade Apple (link) or Angelina (link), then use that font to print your name at 24 or 36 point, in blue ink as if it were a signature.

If they get creative with that, it should be quite easy to prove that it is a forgery.

What a charming man?!? Going to have your dog put down!!??

Please Caz, just lock your vehicle in the garage, that is all you need to do. He CANNOT break into the garage.

He is talking utter, utter rubbish, that is what bailiffs do.

Stop speaking to him on the phone, he will frighten you, you don't deserve or need that.

Write asking for a breakdown of their fees. Keep all communication in writing.

If he turns up, only speak to him through an upstairs window and if you have video recording on your phone or better still a video camera, record everything, maybe he won't make such outrageous threats!? Make sure all doors and windows are shut firmly. He cannot break in.
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

If you are reading at this time of night, remember bailiffs have a habit of turning up VERY VERY early in the morning if they're after a car. If by any chance it is out there, go out and move it.

And well done for fighting - justice will prevail!

I expect it would probably be illegal to connect one's motor car to the mains.

                  Pity. :tinysmile_hmm_t2:

                    Re: Rossendales

My car is safely locked up in the garage and the front gate is padlocked shut with a brand new "Warning! Guard dog on duty! No trespassing" sign on it and before my partner goes to work in the morning he is going to put the dog outside on an extra long chain so that it is impossible to get past her to the garage or my front door! I hope he doesn't come in the morning as I have to go out at 9.15 and I don't like the idea of the house being left, but I have no choice!
As for uploading everything to Youtube... I will upload it onto every possible site available to me!
The thought of giving the bailiff a bad hair day via the mains had already crossed my mind!!! I live on a farm with cattle everywhere so electric fences are not uncommon here!!! lol!!! Now that would be funny to upload to Youtube!!!!

This is a copy of the email I got from Rossendales after I emailed them requesting that they call their bailiff off my case!!

                          Thank you for your email.

We have been instructed by our Client, Cornwall Council to recover the outstanding amount.

The case is receiving the attention of the Enforcement Bailiff and as such the option to pay by instalments has been withdrawn.

The Bailiff is attending to collect payment in full or remove goods to sell at auction to discharge the debt and associated costs. We are unable to hold action or withdraw the Bailiff at this stage in the recovery process.

You will need to contact the Bailiff on 07515973955 to discuss the case further and make arrangements to pay the balance due.

                          Yours sincerely

Just received a voicemail from Mr Gilmour from Rossendales and he is now saying that he is willing to enter an arrangement with me to pay him the 428 pounds he reckons I owe him!!! I pleaded with him last week to let me pay by installments and he refused!!!
I want to call him back and say FU! It's too late I have already sent off the TE9 form and a letter to Rossendales requesting a breakdown in writing of their hideous charges!!! I still don't agree with the amount he is trying to charge me!
What should I do??? Take up his offer as long as it is for an affordable amount for me? Or tell him to go stuff himself???

Do you want to pay charges that may be excessive and/or unlawful?

What have you put on the TE9 form?
