I was ordered to pay my sons fine as he was a minor, I was paying this with difficulty. I have today received a letter from Marston Group stating there is an outstanding fine of £60 plus £75 they have added which needs to be paid in full within 7 days (the letter was written 2 days ago), I have had 3 telephone conversations with them and 2 with the court non of which were actually very helpful. The courts say I should of paid it by now, I tried to explain my husband is out of work and we get just over £90 a week JSA the courts have said it is for Marston to put it back infront of the courts for us to have more time to pay (I wrote to the original court back in September last year asking for more time but heard nothing), Marston Group told me I would have to wait until the Bailiff arrives then they will take it back to court if I am refusing to pay. I asked the lady if the telephone conversation was being taped and she replied yes, so I stated 'as the telephone conversation was being taped I wanted it also logged that I am not refusing to pay the outstanding fine but have been told by her to wait for the bailiff to come so I can go back to court for more time and to have their costs removed as I had written asking for time but heard nothing as I had in face written to the wrong court which was not my fault' with this she stated she was ending the call as I had spoken to them three times today and she hung up. I am scared I will now have the bailiff turn up and add more costs and take stuff away please help with this if you can. thank you
