  • Warrant of execution

Posting this for a friend as he is not very good on a computer.A while back he had a loan from moneyshop, missed some payments so the account was handed over to Bryan Carter who then issued a CCJ. Agreed to pay the local court the amount outstanding and have receipts as proof that the amount was paid.Today nearly a year after paying Bryan Carter have issued a warrant of execution for judgement balance outstanding which is 280.70p for the same loan.
They have also issued a warrant number but do not list a court just threats that if he doesnt pay then the baliffs will turn up which leads him to his second problem. He works away and merely uses my address as a base for his post.NOTHING here is in his name ,can the baliffs say otherwise and take MY stuff??
Any help would be appreciated x

          Re: Warrant of execution

all payments were made over the telephone to the court direct, the last time he paid they said that was it paid. They sent a final receipt and have heard nothing from the court for over a year.....

If it is paid in full, then there is no debt to enforce. He should write to Bryan Carter telling him this and enclose a copy of the final receipt.
