  • Purchasing CCJ from original DCA

Can anyone help? I have been paing a Court order regurlarl since 1993 regarding a business debt,to a Company called Sechiari,Clark & Mitchell, but have just received a letter from Pinnacle Legal Recoveries of Stratford-Upon-Avon,stating this debt has been purchased by them, and that I have to now contact them to settle the debt.I have kept a complete record of Payments,Dates & Postal Order numbers and have been paying this money well before the due dates. How can I now prove this is a Company I have to send the money too,as I have always dealt with the original collectors. Pinnacle will not answer my phone calls or email.

    Welcome to the site.

While it is acceptable for a third party to "buy" a CCJ I can understand your caution.
I'd be inclined to fire off a simple Prove It letter.
There's an example on post #4 on the first link in my signature.

Snail mail and recorded is best for this. Hardcopy is always the advisable way to proceed.

Until the DCA response continue making your payments as normal to SC&M.
