  • Parking - Can I pay the council NOT the Bailiff ?

    Hi All

Could someone please confirm that for a non paid parking fine the bailiff cannot force an entry into my home. He's never been into my home and I've never even met him.

At the time when I got the ticket I was unale to pay and kinda just hoped it would go away. Now 18 months later I am recieving bailiff letters demanding over £400.
I am willing to pay the original fine as I am guilty, I just dont want to pay the parasitic bailiff.
I still cant pay the entire amount in one payment as I'm now unemployed so I'd like to know if I can make payment direct to the council by instalments, say £5 per 2weeks?

Also I read somwhere that a PCN is not valid unless it has the exact wording of "Date of issue". mine says "Date of service" Is this a valid PCN?

Bailiff says he's coming to take my stuff on Thursday 04 feb :tinysmile_cry_t:

    Greetings Voidhawk,

Not sure of the answer myself but there are many from this forum that does, but it is a bit late in the night now and have probably all gone to bed.

The best thing to do is check this post is still up or near the top in the morning if not give it a bump and someone more knowledgeable will be along.

    Regards
If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of payments.

Thanks pompeyfaith. I'm still learning how to use a forum so i'm not sure what you mean by "give it a bump". Is there a Bump button?
