Can they break into my house and take my things??
This would only be the case here if your council has not decriminalised parking.

They have decriminalised parking in your area since you have received a Warrant of Execution from the County Court as opposed to a Distress Warrant from the Magistrates' Court.

        Re: HELP - Marstons

I tried to ring the mobile no. left but no answer. I left a message that this is not my debt, and I've sent letters to the head office. I'll try again later.

What do I say if this fella wants to come again?? And I'm sure he will. I certainly don't want to let him in.

The letter you sent threatened court action, so you either carry out your threat or you ignore them. If you ignore them it was pretty pointless sending the letter.

I've spoke to the bailiff. He says my sons car is registered to this address so they can assume that he still lives here. Also they want to have a look to prove that he does or doesn't live here. If theres anything that would suggest he lives here they will seize goods for sale.

I have a spare bedroom with a bed in it for when we have our grandson staying. He said that could mean my son stays??????

Unless I can prove the things that belong to me, they will seize them.

            Is that right?

Just thinking what was said by the bailiff. He said they would put my sons car on the reg plate recognition list (?), any police car with one of these devices fitted will stop him and take the car from him. That suits me, but would they still want stuff from my house? I'm still adamant they're not getting in, but I don't want them breaking in.

How long do these things go on for? I mean if we keep refusing them, how long will they keep coming for??

Stop speaking with the bailiff, they will keep coming all the time you are giving them ammunition.

Thanks. I'll just keep door locked, and not speak to them

I know that bailiffs tell lies, but that tale is really most inventive. It is, of course, utter nonsense as no police officer has the right to seize a motor-car to enforce a debt, nor does any certificated bailiff have any lawful access to the PNC.

If you asked him nicely, do you suppose he might repeat that threat in writing?

As long as they continue to play with themselves.
