The reason I cannot take the same action again as I did with the levy fees was that the cheque was enclosed with their reply to my SAR - they obviously knew what would happen, so pre-empted it.
The fees are different as they claim they did happen, but we don't think they did as we never received paperwork. Are they supposed to keep copies of the paperwork they post through your door when they visit as proof? If not, what other proof would they have that a visit has taken place - they can write anything down on an SAR? At least with the levies there should have been paper work to back up what they claimed. Do you see what I'm trying to get at?
