  • Urgent Help - Walking Possession Agreement - Rossendales

    HI,

I'm new to the forum as I have been searching in vain on the net for information regarding Walking Possession Agreements.

My father is in debt for council tax, and Rossendales is the company who is dealing with the case.

    Urgent help is required.....

Unbeknown to me he had let a different bailiff in who started writing out a walking possession agreement just saying "I'm having that, that, that and that!" Pointing to the items and writing them down.

My father then went and signed the agreement, even though there were only 4 items on the list and not of great value.

The information I have found does state that the bailiff is able to access the property again and remove THE goods... I assume that the goods mentioned are those ONLY on the walking possession agreement and not anything else in the prooperty?????

This bailiff is threatening to completely take ANY item of value if he visits the property to remove the goods..... Even my fathers car.

This bailiff that is dealing with my father sounds like he is a complete bully boy and also sounds like he is operating completely unprofessionally and outside his legal grounds.

Any and all advice would be appreciated ASAP.

    Kex.

      Hi caspar...

I've already viewed that before registering for the forum and it gives no more information than I already know.. That the bailiff is legally allowed to remove THE goods.

The question is, Is this bailiff legally only allowed to take the goods on the Walking possession agreement, or is he allowed to basically take anything he so desires upon that visit????

      Thanx Again.
