Anyone with probs with Phillips, unjust fines, fees Etc. I won! you can too !!!! PROPER address below, these people are within the law, unfortunately however, they use bully boy tactics galore, IT STINKS!
The Magistrates ARE AWARE OF THE COMPLAINTS BEING LOGGED AND THEY HAVE THERE OWN PROBLEMS WITH THEM, that was the Court staff telling me this! I personally have had to employ a solicitor to sort them out. They said I owed money when I did not. I WON. Not one reply to My Solicitors letters, not once, they are ignorant! I wrote to them 7 times both addresses to no avail. They hide behind PO Box Numbers they are that deviant, they have had to move several times. I know the new Darlington address link of map below, they now have no sign up saying Phillips and I was told it was a Secret to their Location. You see their website with pictures of professionals in black and white uniforms etc, poppy cock; the girls wear holey jeans and have more jewellery on than Geoff goldsmiths in Oxford St, Chav tasstic! These are the front line people we are dealing with on the phone! Phillips debt collection agency Both Doncaster and Darlington have had many many complaints about all their tactics especially adding fees, fees and even more FEES and to bully people into paying. Bailiffs issuing notice of attendances without knocking I have seen a lot of people complain about this, and I personally have witnessed this tactic for myself. Confronted the Bailiff and all nice as pie and been told by them there is nothing they can do but log it down, I was told to ignore the threatening letters wink wink by one of them! It ads fees that mount up to more than what they collect in a lot of cases. It’s what they are trained to do, they won’t call in some cases if cars present /someone in, they slip the letter in to your letter box then sharp exit to the car parked round the corner, I promise you this is true. They also lie about not receiving genuine letters of complaints pointing to a clear mistake, all they are interested in is ‘raking it in’ if someone has failed to pay a fine and the courts etc have employed there services, Pay them directly or you will regret it to the tune of hundreds, less you fight it, hard work, but if you owe money in first place just pay it, do not get involved with these unscrupulous, unprofessional Debt collectors. They are based at Trinity court in Faverdale, Darlington DL3 0PH it’s the building in the middle of the 3, no signs, supposed to be top secret. copy paste link or google Trinity Court, Darlington, Hope this helps anyone having probs with these guys, More results are gained from face to face conversations, less rude and actions result! GOOD LUCK. I won! you can too !!!!

i agree totally after a 120 pound fine turned into 800 from so called visits, etc, we refused to pay and contacted magistrates court who said we shoud wait 6 months then it will be passed back to them and we pay original fine amount, after 10 calls a day from philips on the phone i blocked their number and contacted police for harrasment, when i actually spoke to a philips rep and said police were aware of case she hung up !!, they called to my house once when i was in and i asked for id, they would not give and just threw an envelope at me, when i said it was inappropriate behavior they just said tough, so after contacting mp and local newspaper and also the magistrates court we havnt paid them a penny, lo and behold the debt went bak to magistrates without fees and we paid the original amount. do not pauy them they are bu;llies and play on the fact they can cum in your home and take goods,,,, they cannot unless they themselves have taken you to court and gained the correct warrant.

They actually do have the power to enter your home by force for a magistrates' fine.

Re: Phillips Debt Collection Bailiffs

Hi I hope someone can help or give good advice im having issues with Phillips regarding what was originally a £160 speeding fine that was transferred to Phillips and went up to £250 pound.
I agreed to make 2 x payments of £125 over 2 months March 13 and April 13 I was told an agent would call me for the first instalment on 13 March but there was no call I stupidly presumed I would make the full payment 1 month later. However around the 10th April i receive a letter from Phillips stating a Bailiff had visited my parents property but had got no reply (a very common lie by the sounds of things) the outstanding amount had gone up by another £215 pounds now £465 owing. After arguing my case and refusing to pay anything for a couple of days i got a message asking me to contact Phillips spoke to a chap who claimed if I pay the £250 he can drop the Bailiff fee which I did but you guessed it a few days later i have a disgusting letter demanding the £215 be paid in full immediately. STRESSED right out its my Mum n Dads property my fine been paid and no bailiff came to our door if he did he didn't knock or leave a card.
If anyone can help or advise please do, many thanks.

Was this a Magistrates Court Fine or FPN? Have you moved since the offence was committed?

Hi Ploddertom, this is or was a magistrates court fine and I am at the same address feeling like I'm being ripped off. Also I read that a notice letter should of been sent to my address before the ghost bailiff is this true as this again was certainly not the case.

Ask the bailiff if they would like to make an appearance in front of the same magistrates court they are supposed to be acting for and see what their reaction is. Be firm, though, and sound like you mean it. It might just make this bailiff and their employer behave themselves.

@OP Have you read the sticky in the bailiff section about Magistrates' Court fines?

BB I think if one was to say this to a bailiff, they would pretty much laugh it off, fairly safe in the knowledge it is highly unlikely to happen. It would be great to see them hauled before a court, but it just doesn't happen. :tinysmile_cry_t:

The trouble with certificated bailiffs, Labman, is that they rely on aggression and the misguided belief they are untouchable to do their jobs. All too often, debtors are terrified into not taking action against these bullies. It is going to come that a certificated bailiff will be hauled before a magistrate for criminal behaviour against a debtor and be convicted. The alternative is to haul the creditor before the court as they are often responsible for engaging the bailiff.

I am an advocate of "Never say never".

Yes, but which will come first, that, or the end of the world? I think we're talking similar timescales.

I really do not see the point in suggesting something which is not going to happen, and which will make the bailiff think, "We're dealing with a right one here thinking it's realistic that he'll get me before a court!"

As I've said many times before now, theoretically great, realistically, pie in the sky IMO. :tinysmile_grin_t:

Hi

Yes i have to agree. There are established procedures for dealing with bailiff misdeeds, we may think that they are inafective, but you can be sure that any magisrate will want to see that they have been followed before any action was taken by him. That is of course presuming that you would ever get the case in front of a majistrate in the first place.

This is a common occurrence. Remember that bailiffs are compulsive liars, and what they say and what they actually do are two completely different things.

Just make sure that you are not charged. For the none appearance. Do you want to expand on why you have bailiffs on your back?

Try "Lying scumbag" or "Cheating scumbag". They'll answer to either.:laugh:
