Hello everyone new to this so hope it gets out to anyone who can help. My daughter's boyfriend ran up parking debts in her car we've had Equita pursuing her for the debt as the car was in her name. shes a student so can't pay we tried to borrow the money but because they've blacklisted the address no-one in the household can get a loan all our (5 of us in the home) have now been blighted by this and cannot get any form of credit - any suggestions to get the blackliting lifted? thank you

This is down to the original lender, not Equita. Were any of your family members guarantors for the car loan?

Do you each have a copy of your respective credit reports? Is it possible that you have been linked financially?

thank you Sapphire & Amy. I phoned the CCCS Consumer Credit Services who say by change of law since 2004 it was not possible to blacklist and address due to one of its members but mine and my husbands have recently credit score has recently dropped even though we've just paid off a small mortgage and a car loan. Any insights from anyone would be great. Herkimer
