  • Need help with Bristow and Sutor Bailiffs

I have received a hand delivered letter from Bristow and Sutor of "Notice of Intended Seizure of Goods" for unpaid Council Tax. This is for the year April 2009/March 2010.

I have not entered into any kind of agreement with them for this debt as far as I am aware, however I have previously been in the same boat with them but the debt was paid in full.

Can they enter my house under the previous agreement or are they trying to scare me. This is the 2nd letter of this kind (hand delivered) they have posted through the door.

I have been onto their website and have generated a weekly standing order for 15 weeks to cover this debt which i have already set up with my bank but as yet have had no personal contactwith them....is this a good thing.

Im really concerned as the goods in my house wouldnt cover the debt if sent to auction although my son has some expensive computer/gaming equipment he got for his birthday and we obviously dont want anything to happen to this.

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME HELP/ADVICE??

list anything of value in your sons name on a computer then print it out... that way nothing can be taken as you dont own it.. do this in case of any future problems.
