  • Fraudulent parking tickets chased by bailiffs

    Hi everyone,

I have problem. Someone has fraudulently registered their car at my address and accrued hundreds of pounds worth of parking tickets which have been chased (by mail) by a collection agency. I have continually told them that there is no one at my address with the details they have on their system, and now I have received pre-removal advice stating that they can legally force entry into my property and remove goods. Can I show them the electoral register forms that have been received in the post to show that the person on their records doesn't live at my address?

When you say "collection agency" who precisely are you talking about?

It does make a difference who is chasing for these fines and what kind of fines they are.
