The first visit;
1) A person attended my home making factually false claims about a PCN. Dates, address
2) They did not show any formal or informal ID
3) They refused to leave my property
4) I was assaulted. Left unconscious in my home. Police attended. Ambulance took me to hospital. I am still suffering the physical effects
Next;
1) The person left a scruffy badly copied letter with a stamp in lieu of a name and the name of his firm (withheld as this is ongoing)
2) I had a letter from the firm claiming monies against an unpaid PCN
3) I contacted the issuing authority who gave me the process of appeal - they sent the letters to my previous address of some three years hence.
4) They told me not to contact the collection firm as they would be dealing.
5) I made a formal complaint against the firm via their website
6) I spoke to a solicitor via my home insurance. That matter is ongoing
Second visit;
1) Phone call - young chap. I told him the above. He said he was visiting regardless.
2) He attended - showed no ID. Very menacing. Constant knocking and ringing. Our dog was having an aneurism!
3) Came into the garden via a locked gate - it's always locked. He had to climb on a low wall to reach over.
4) Stood at the back patio doors - No ID visible.
5) I got video and photo
6) I called the Police -
Question.
Please put aside the assault.
1) What has the firm done wrong and what is my means of redress?
The PCN is being dealt with whilst all this is happening.
Many thanks.
