by virtue of a liability order issued dec 2018 - letter is dated 8 Oct 2025 and I have to contact by 21 Oct 2025 to set a plan up but today I received letter (12 nov 2025)

I speak with the council for debt as they already taking money each month from me for housing recovery but they said I have to go to bailiff they can no longer speak to me about it so I speak with company they said go to bailiff I speak to bailiff he said pay immediately in full if not then £500+ will be added on when he visits I am scared because I am single parent and currently out of work due to mental health issues. I called debt help they say go to DRO but this will affect my bank and other things I am so scared now that the bailiff will come and take my car and inside my house letter says enforcement agent, transporting goods, storage fees and locksmith charges

    Hi GUEST2025

    Welcome to LB

Because you are out of work and have health issues you are a 'vulnerable person'.

Email the bailiff company and the Council the following letter :-

    https://nationaldebtline.org/get-inf...vulnerable-ew/

Print the letter, place in envelope, keep by door, hand to bailiff.

If they continue harassing you lodge a formal complaint via their website.

Park your car well away from your house or in the garage if you have one.

You should make arrangements to pay in instalments.
