  • Notice of Enforcement from Marston recovery

    Hello!

Had a Notice of Enforcement letter arrive in the post today, dated 02 February

The amount is for 4,937.86 and it states that I owe the money to Tameside council (long story short this is a complete set up and an act of fraud on there part as i do not owe them anything)

    The letter also states
You have been sent this notice of enforcement because you have not paid money that you owe

    At the bottom it states
if you dont pay or agree a payment plan on time, an enforcement agent will visit you and may take your belongings into control.

I though only a court order could do this, or is it because it is the council that they are exempt and dont need a court order for this like council tax. or has a court order allready been passed?
