Thank you Huxie - I do wish posters would keep to one thread! It looks like the advice previously received was that there was no prospect of success and it seems that it was accurate. It must be extremely frustrating for the OP but there was a connection with the previous business via a director who had resigned (although not directly and one which would not allow collection of the £5k if the info we have been given is correct) which is why the baliff turned up at this address.Originally posted by Huxie View PostBackground details can be found in the OP’s previous threads:

Understood - I was a director of a ltd company called a and signed a non guarantor agreement with a supplier - I resigned all interest in comapny a but am running a company cb - no relation different address address sole director - supplier gained a high court writ against company a and the dcb ltd called into company with a write made out to campy a and demanded £5000. They began removing items and called the police who never arrived - my daughter paid £5000 out of embarrassment and I sued for the return as the enforcement was illegal on many fronts. Had a hearing and the judge there it out saying I had not sugared ny financial loss and so it should have ben my daughter who and the claim. The whole this is corrrupt- know have to start all over again and make a claim to the high court that issue the writ - is this correctOriginally posted by islandgirl View PostI think to get any reaction or advice we would need more detail.

No but it was also incorrect to say there was no connection at all between the 2 companies. There had been a connection previously via a director but if they had resigned a long time ago and had no further connection after that then it does seem that the baliff acted incorrectly. Have you been through the company complaint procedure?
