Please could anyone give me some advice for my daughter?
She has council tax arrears with
Hull City Council
the debts are for the years 2021,2023 and 2024
but payments for 2021 and 2023 have been paid and she has the receipts and bank statements for these.
she has now received letters from Duke bailiffs stating that she now owes them the debt and they have added more on top
she has been in touch with the council and was told there is nothing they can do now it's been passed over.
she has also rang the bailiffs to offer a payment of £90per month
and they refused saying they would only accept £160per month
at the least for council tax arrears
