  • Marston recovery letter

Hi wondered if anyone can help me. I received a letter from Marston recovery yesterday saying I owe £628.34. I have no clue why or how to find out why ? Rang Marston and the only option on the telephone was to press number 1 to receive an SMS message to contact them. I did this and it was a mobile number. When I rang he sounded very dodgy and could not tell me what I owed money for apart from it was something to do with my car ? He then said it was because iv been driving with an invalid license which it isnt. He even said to me I'm sorry I have not got your case so I don't know anything about it. When I asked his name he said you already have my name you don't need to write that down. ? I didn't have his name ? On the top of the letter where it said who you owe money to it just says our client but no client's name ? It also says I'm going to have an enforcement agent visit my home in the next 14 days. Its the first and only letter I have received off them ? I have two young children here and need this sorting asap. Please can somebody help me ? Thanks

    Hello

You can try to call them first using the link below and select the option for "How can I contact you?", if not you should send an email. In either case, make it clear you tried to call the person based on the letter you received and he claimed not to have been allocated your case so you need to find out who is allocated and also for them to supply the information as to who the creditor is and the reference so you can investigate this.
