  • Protecting car.

I'm hoping to fend bailiffs off.

If I sell my car to my girlfriend, does it have to be at market value and does there need to be evidence of money changing hands?

The car is worth about £17k. Debt is about £3k.

I've stuck to the agreement, but my last payment was 2 days late and I know they like to send a bailiff and ramp up the charge.

I very much doubt in the present covid climate that a two day late payment would be a problem
