This case is one that we will revisit time and time again due to the fact that we are within the European Union and relates to parents of another county or rather one of the parents, bringing a child to the UK and the parent back home taking legal action to have the child returned home.

The issue is Hague Convention and laws relating to member states of the EU. In this instance the child is of age where their viewpoints are counted(the Gillick competence)
