    The interesting part of this and it may be interconnected with the issue of legal aid is that Sir James Mumby has included part of Lucy Reed's submission in relation to the consequences of delays in approving Legal Aid to the mother.

    I would add she has written a bit on her blog as well(link provided)

    Thanks once again for the info. Hmmmm, not sure about the father cross examining the mother. I can understand why he would want to but if the mother had been bullied and humiliated, dominated if you like, by him then I can understand why she would be reluctant.
    The delay due to lack of legal aid is simply disgusting. A year in a child’s life can make all the difference and every minute a family is needlessly subject to separation and mental anguish will feel like an eon. This is barbaric and cruel.
