This is a very important change in Consumer law which came into force on October 1st 2008.

I came across it today and it is very important to my business as I do visit people in their homes and receive orders from them.

Am just bumping it up for general interest.

Basically if anyone agrees a contract for the purchase of goods, in the comfort of their own home, they now have a virtually cast iron right to cancel that order within a 7 day period and get a full refund on any money paid in relation to that contract.

Very useful for future reference.

So, if I foundmyself in financial difficulty, would I be able to cancel the contract with 1 months written notice?
