    Help with verify/ACI PLEASE

    Hi everyone

    I hope you can help me; I received an email from verify/aci claiming I owed HSBC over £900. I genuinely have no recollection of any debt with them but if I did it would be over 20 years old now. There is no record of it on my credit file and I have sent verify a woira notice and this morning one of their agents called to my house. I didn't engage just shut the door and she walked off so I promptly emailed them asking for proof.


    Have I done the right thing?

    You should send them a Statute Barred letter, make sure you get Proof of Postage.
