    Hello...

I've purchased 35 double glazed windows for a building I'm renovating into self contained flats...when the windows were installed it was clear that half of them don't open properly when the key is turned...the key catches on the bottom of the opening sash..

I told the company as soon as I noticed this and first they tried to fob me off with " don't open the window with the key in this position then.."...

I said thats not good enough..they stated they've never seen this problem before and they will look into finding a solution....

Eventually, they visited with a supposedly different lock..(it was exactly the same one. and of course the problem occurred again...I gave them another 2 weeks to solve the problem and again they've turned up with an identical lock.. which catches...

I want to issue proceedings now. .they are taking me for an idiot and I've had enough..

    Any help guys???

No,an expert report will cost circa 400.00..and I don't expect to get that back in a small claims court
