On Beach Possession of Alcohol Ticket

We all gave fake names and me and my other friend knew we weren’t being detained so we just flat out left, but my other two friends received tickets for on beach possession. They believed the cops lies and eventually even gave their real names. They were ticketed and have court dates now. What should I advise them to say without involving me directly? Would telling them that I (using my fake name) came to introduce myself and play spike ball but had a beverage underage be a good plan of action? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I would counsel against making false declarations to a court.
I have noted that underage possession is not a crime. The possessor does not face jail or a criminal conviction--it is an infraction, not a misdemeanor or felony. (info gleaned from a USA site)
