Money Claim disappeared from HM courts account (??)

Hi there

I'm dealing with a money claim received, have applied for the 14 day extension but with a week left, I have just logged in to submit the defence but the account doesn't show the claim any more. I'm puzzled. Could the claimant have cancelled the claim?

It wouldn't surprise me at all, but I would have thought a notification would have arrived but there's nothing - have checked spam too.

Anyone had this?

Update: spoke to MCOL helpline and the site is experiencing IT issues and should be back to normal by tomorrow.

Well that's frustrating, thanks for sharing.

I'm wondering if the claimant has archived the claim, the MCOL user guide says you can do so and that the court won't be notified. But it's not clear if he would have to update the claim's status first.

Could this be the reason it's just gone from my account?
