  • Financial Ombudsman Service - Perverse Decision / Bad faith

I have an awful feeling that I know the answer to this already but has anyone tried to bring a claim on these grounds against FOS and does anyone know of any solicitors that have any experience in this area?

    Thanks in anticipation

if you don't like the FOS decision, your better option is probably to sue the firm involved, not the FOS. The FOS decision is not binding on you the customer.

You will have to say more about the decision and why you think it is wrong to get any idea of whether you have any grounds for suing the FOS.

You may consider writing to your MP & if the company in question is regulated, then, write to the regulator with your MP"s input........

The only option on FOS complaints is administrative errors or mistakes.

Thanks, there has been a plethora of mistakes but they refuse to correct them. They make me so angry.

I know, and I am going to. It just makes me so mad that the FOS can completely ignore the facts / law and do whatever they like. Everytime I use them I swear never again!
