Deceased Estate Notice

Hello lovely legal types/people with experience!

My sister and I are the executers of our late mother's will. Is it essential to post a notice in the London Gazette i.e. post a "deceased estates notice"?

We are 99.99999% sure she left no debts apart from a small energy bill.

It is not essential to post in the Gazette, and if you are that certain I would not bother.
