Hi, I am fairly new here so please bear with me.
I noted a ccj appear on my credit report dated 21st Aug 2017, didn't say for which company but did state from 2102 in maiden name which I haven't used for 5 years, and also at an address from years ago.
I have been calling the court business centre since, no answer. Finally today I get though to money online service who tell me it is for shop direct littlewoods with shoosmiths solicitors, I now have reference number, I call them and they tell me it has come to them via capquest and is for £831 and from an address I lived at years ago, now I know that is wrong as I didn't use my maiden name at all then, I do not recall this debt at all, if it is mine then they are lying regarding dates and address which the account was opened at.
I requested a copy of the credit agreement, but operator replied saying they can request one but as this is now a judgement account they are not obliged to provide one.
I really don't know what to do, I am annoyed that I have not had a single letter regarding this, not even one from the court, yet my current address is there on my credit file.
I do not want to pay a debt that I do not recognise but also do not want the ccj. Any help really appreciated. I have until 15 th Sept to pay they say.
