Good afternoon all,
Asking on behalf of a friend.
In 2013 there was a CCJ registered against him , he claims he did not received any paperwork , he only found out about it as he tried to apply for mortgage and his broker informed him about it.
He phoned Northampton court and the company that got the CCJ against him is o longer trading, and he has not received any letters from a different company chasing the debt so he's assuming the debt has not been sold on to anyone else.
Is there any chance that the court will consider a set aside application ? or is better to wait another year and a half until it drops off his credit?
I had my share with debt and courts myself, but I'm stuck to what he can do as I know he needs some serious reason to be granted this.
Thank you,
