  • Mot issues

I have recently voluntarily terminated my car finance agreement and paid appropriate fee on the 5 th July.
The car is not being collected by the finance agents until 20th of July.
My MOT expires 18th of July.
I am responsible to renew MOT ???
    Thanks

      Re: Mot issues

I signed over logbook on the 5th of July when sent termination of agreement. When I spoke to finance company they told insurances and a valid mot certicate had to be valid upon collection.I went on gov website which said was not appropriate at time car will only be 3 years old or registered on 18th

if not ring DVLA Monday and inform them, or get advice as they are the owners now since you signed the log book over to them = their problem as I see it or they are trying to be clever?
