I have received letters of Lowell solicitors stating I owe over £300.
I rang and they said it's from a Orange account I had when I was 18 I'm now 24. They also said they've sent me over 20 letters out, I've moved over 5 times but I've never received one. When I asked for documents that orange have gave them to say I owe money they said they cant send me that out because I'm already in a CCJ now. But they can send me the info on there system over email for £10.00. When I asked what was on there system, all it is saying is i owe the money an it dates back to 2011.
Then he said there's nothing else to do the options are pay, seek legal advise or the next stage is balliffs. I don't know much about this kind of thing but i did previously google this company and everyone states they use scare tactics. But I can't afford to pay them back, but I don't even think I should because I don't think I actually owe it. I did have a orange mobile contract but I don't think I missed any payments. They said I have 14 days before the next steps are taken. Any help would be great
