Re: Daughters satandar sar request incl charges
There's no clear route to reclaim bank charges theses days I'm afraid but you could try the hardship route that Martin Lewis advises, I know they had some successes http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/rec...077.1464587401

Re: Daughters satandar sar request incl charges
@EXC, if I recall the OFT v Abbey case focused on overdraft charges where there was no breach of contract which fell under the core price or remuneration exemption? If I am correct in what Mike is referring to is that there was a breach of contract for a failure to pay on time resulting in the late payment charge of £25, is that right Mike?If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you

Re: Daughters satandar sar request incl charges
Ahh ok. I'm not too up on how to claim for penalty charges but if it was me I would kick off with a formal complaint on the basis that you believe that the charges don't accurately reflect the cost of the breaches as they should.
