My daughter has been placed in the work activity group, she has epilepsy and a learning disability. We went to the job centre in April 2016 to discuss her options, she is 42 but she acts like a 12 year old, we has another interview on 10 March this year, said nothing has changed which they accepted and we went on our way. Just received a text today, 16th for an interview on 18th. Is this normal so soon after the March interview. We can't make the appointment as I have to take my father for a hospital appointment, but can't ring jobcentre toll the day of the appointment. Hopefully this will be ok | |

Re: Work Related Activity Group
A text on a bank holiday is not right imho can you reply to the text? if only to prove when you got it.
You will have to ring and cancel as soon as you can, explain the time scale, whatever has happened it has to be their fault and doing so will ensure no sanctions are put in place.
